Education Policy
The educational policy of Jamia Nadwiyya, the most celebrated of all Islamic academic institutes in Kerala, is governed and oriented by the following basic guidelines and principles:
- The institute is open to all Indian students who wish to study a particular academic discipline.
- The institute is always attempting to create a kind of intellectual unity among the various sects of Muslims in particular, and among the Indians in general.
- In all its curriculum and scholarly activities, the institute is strictly concerned with everything that can strengthen the spiritual life of students and revive the national sense among them.
- The institute is keen to remain a guiding light for mankind and a stronghold for the Muslim community by safeguarding their spiritual language and reforming their cultural heritage.
- The institute aims to provide the Kerala Muslims with scholars and experts well equipped with Islamic culture and morals, and well prepared to build up their societies on faith and scientific basis.
- The institute intends to prepare a group of leading and high qualified academicians and scientists for the coming generations. To accomplish this goal the institute supports higher studies creating new areas of different specializations
The institute is keen to have academic relations with other institutions and research foundations. For this purpose, it exchanges academic visits with other institutions and invites the best scholars to deliver lectures. Jamia Nadwiyya sends some of its eminent scholars outside to catch up with the most recent, up to date developments in the field of academic and various research activities.
